Mission
Resident Interactive's mission is to establish outstanding,
long-term relationships with our customers and strategic
partners, while delivering software with unmatched reliability
and customer service which exceeds expectations in every
respect.
Overview
Resident Interactive delivers advanced database application
technology to residential master-planned communities and
condominiums in the form of a customizable "community
intranet." Community intranets are private, password-protected
applications that are accessed via the Internet by members
of common-interest organizations.
With our focus on providing premier residential communities
with state-of-the-art intranet technology, Resident Interactive
facilitates a tangible "sense of community" and establishes
a platform for social interaction. Combining local content,
convenient access to neighborhood resources, and group
communication tools, Resident Interactive offers a turnkey
community intranet with features and security usually
reserved for Fortune 500 corporate intranets.
Resident Interactive is the recognized leader among community
intranet providers with a client list that includes Beazer
Homes, Terrabrook, East-West Partners, Brambleton Group,
and BellSouth Residential Solutions.
History
Resident Interactive, originally named iVicinity, was
founded in 1999 by Dennis Papalois and Bill Roberts. Formerly
colleagues at Oracle Corporation, Papalois and Roberts
were joined by fellow Oracle alum Ellen Hasenkamp to form
iVicinity. In October 2001, iVicinity changed its name
to Resident Interactive, Inc.
Anticipating consumer demand for home automation and broadband
Internet access, Resident Interactive developed a customizable
intranet platform encompassing household, neighborhood,
and local community content in an easy-to-use, secure
environment. Today, Resident Interactive serves hundreds
of communities throughout the U.S. In February 2002, Resident
Interactive launched its first international community
intranet in Melbourne, Australia.
Resident Interactive is based in Atlanta, GA. |
